Information We Process
We may process: Photos you capture or upload for analysis. Scan results generated by the app (item title, era/style guesses, valuation estimate, confidence/authenticity output, and related metadata). Optional account details when you sign in (such as name and email) through Apple or Google. Subscription and transaction status from Apple’s App Store (for entitlement, billing status, and restore purchases). Basic technical/app diagnostic data required to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Information
We use data to: Analyze your uploaded/captured item images. Generate valuation and authenticity guidance. Provide and improve app features and reliability. Maintain your signed-in account state and profile. Process subscription access and restore purchases. Prevent abuse and secure the service.
Third-Party Services
To provide core functionality, AntiqueScanner uses third-party providers, including: AI processing providers for image analysis. Firebase/Google services for authentication and related backend services. Apple App Store infrastructure for in-app subscription billing and restoration. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Data Storage and Retention
Scan history is stored on your device. If you sign in, limited account/profile data may be stored in cloud services. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and maintain security.
Your Choices and Controls
Inside the app, you can: Use the app without signing in (limited guest flow). Sign out at any time. Clear local scan history. Delete your account permanently. Manage/cancel subscriptions through Apple subscription settings.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve protection and reliability.
Children’s Privacy
AntiqueScanner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Processing
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on infrastructure providers and service operations.
